Both parents do not have a permanent job or stable income even to support the basic needs of the family. This request is for the oldest of their two sons who recently passed his 12th grade exam with good scores. Now he got his admission secured in an Engineering College at Tamilnadu, Kerala. Tuition, boarding and other fees comes around USD $2500 per year. The family can come up with only 500 at the most and seeking your kind support to help with the remainder.
Father of this student had been a security guard at a local hospital but had to quit that job due to my health issues. He got seriously infected with Hepatitis B and had to spent a great deal of money to sustain his life. For the past 17 years, his wife is dealing with epilepsy and is under treatment at Muthoot Hospital Kozhencherry. Both of them need regular medications which costs thousands of rupees per month. They had to take loan against our house for their medical care in the recent past and this family can not obtain an educational loan due to the outstanding loan. This family is moving on with their life primarily with the help of others and from the meager income they make by selling the milk of their cow in the neighborhood.
Even with all these difficult circumstances, both their children do really well in school. The oldest one, who’s the beneficiary of this request, got almost 90% marks for his 12th grade exam and secured merit based admission for Petrochemical.
