Mr. Muhammed Kutty a 60-year-old fisherman from Malappuram, Kerala is seeking help for a heart surgery that’s overdue. He was diagnosed four years ago with a heart condition that needed immediate treatment. However he has been putting it off as he doesn’t have any money to pay for the surgery. During the past few months his health deteriorated and he’s unable to work and take care of his immediate needs.
He has been to many hospitals during the past 4 years to sustain his life with medications and avoid surgery. However, a recent visit to Amrita medical college, Cochin revealed that his heart valve need immediate replacement and the surgery can not be put off any longer.
His wife is a homemaker and he has two daughters who are married off. His two sons are also fishermen but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the family does not have enough work or income to meet their day to day expenses. They live in a small house and have only 4 cents of land. Mr. Muhammed Kutty’s surgery is estimated to be between 4 and 5 lakhs indian rupees ($7000 USD approx.) per Amrita Medical College. He’s hoping that he could get half of that amount raised locally, but seeking help from generous individuals for the remainder.
Kindly donate to this cause and help Mohammed to overcome this difficult situation.
