This project is for a Single Mother stuck in Dubai due to ongoing cases against her regarding rent and loan repayments. She has a 12 year old daughter living with her. She has requested financial support to pay the tuition fees of her child for the next 2 terms. It would come to around $2850 after she receives a scholarship from her school. She has nowhere to send her daughter currently due to lack of money and cases against her. Her husband does not help her out financially for their daughter’s education or needs. Although she has had a court order since 2014 for payment of child support, he has not been contacting them and avoiding them and hence not got any support from him. She does not have money to restart the case and get the child support from him.
She is working in the Travel industry, and things have been worsening in Dubai since the end of 2018 – 2019 with companies closing down and economic downfall. Now with the pandemic situation things are even worse.There is absolutely no work right now. She is constantly in fear of losing her job any minute. The companies take full advantage of this and they are making employees work from home for long hours and almost everyday a week, which does not come under her work profile. Now her health is very poor and she is in desperate need of money to complete the cases and leave back to India after this school year if she can manage to close all the cases and loan repayment..
