Soorya D. R, 30 yr old female hailing from Waynad. She is from a poor financial background and on treatment for the last 5 years. She had bilateral cystic lung disease following Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Her Left lung was destroyed for which she underwent Left Pneumonectomy. Postoperatively she developed Brocho pleural fistula. Multiple attempts at closure by intervention failed. Now she is managing an open thoracostomy with daily dressing. She is staying near the hospital for the last 11 months for treatment. She requires open surgery and Muscle flap reconstruction for the permanent closure of the fistula. The approximate Expenditure of Surgery will be 3.5 Lakhs. She is not working for the last 5 years and treatment for her illness at various hospitals. It will be very helpful for her if we are able to arrange around 1.5 – 2 lakh rupees
She lives with her father and mother. Father is aged, and he has no job. She was working in a private company, coming from a poor family, with no source of income, and a small house with 5 cents land .it is already mortgaged by the bank.
