Sponsorship Request for providing solar lights to the tribal people (Project ID: H2-2015)

CHN was able to raise fund for helping additional 4 tribal houses to provide solar lights who did not have basic facilities like road or electricity. The Rotery President Mr. Ramesh Bhat expressed their gratitude to CHN for this contribution and quoted that it was like giving sight to a blind person.

Bag Packs for the Children of Adivasi tribes in Idukki (Project ID: E2-2015)

Friends and families of Compassionate Heart Network was able to distribute NEW bag packs containing all standard school supply items (Umbrella, Water bottle, lunch box, Books, Pens, Pencils, Color pencils, Eraser and Sharpener) needed for their academic year to the children around Kattappana, and Nedumkandam Block Panchayats. Around 92 children benefited from this drive.
A note of appreciation and thanks was sent to CHN by the coordinators in Idukki.

 Request For Treatment Assistance for a Five Year Old (Project ID: H1-2015)

Friends and families of Compassionate Heart Network was able to fund the treatment of Hidjo Sibi, a five year old boy who was undergoing treatment for developmental issues that was affecting his growth and well being. His parents were unable to meet the expenses for continuing physical therapy recommended by the doctors.

Winter Coats Collection for North East India (Project ID: V2-2014)

Friends and families of Compassionate Heart Network collected and shipped over 700 winter coats to North East India last summer. This collection was requested by the fathers of the holy cross and the shipping cost was sponsored by Indian Gospel Melodies (IGM). Winter coats were to be distributed among the tribal population of North East India.  Few of the pictures taken at the time of packing the coats are below.

House construction project for a homeless family from Vylathala, Kerala (Project ID: H1-2014)

Madhu and Jayamol live in Vylathala, Kerala with their two children aged 10 and 8. Madhu is a daily wage worker and Jayamol is a home maker. A house of their own was a distant dream for them. Jaya inherited 5 cents of land from her father and approached compassionate Hearts through one of our volunteers in 2013 for assistance in constructing a house.  Please see the picture of the house below.
