We have a new project for a young woman who suffered cardiac issues and a stroke during pregnancy. She delivered in the ICU, but unfortunately it was stillbirth. She had to undergo urgent cardiac surgery and recovered well from it. However, after about a month while on antibiotics, she had complications from an internal bleed and Stroke. She developed one side weakness and still has speech impairment. Now her artificial heart valve has degenerated and it requires a repeat surgery.
Her family is unable to afford it and they live in a joint family with in laws, owned 3 cents of land, husband is mechanic only earning member in the family. She had already spent close to 10 lakhs 5 years back for the first surgery. They have requested us for some help(1.5 to 2 lac). Total Estimate for the surgery will come around 4.5 to 5 lac.
