Loss of husband at a young age is hard to cope up with indeed, but think about having to raise two young children as well without any means of income or family support. We could call it bad luck or fate but that’s what happened to Rejitha who lives in Perissery, in the district of Alappuzha, Kerala, India. Her husband passed away a few months ago due to cancer. The family had to spend all their savings and sell everything they had for the husband’s treatment. Now Rejitha is left with two children studying in 3rd and 1st standards. They do not have a house of their own but was staying with her in-laws and brother in law. Rejitha’s brother in law has been the only breadwinner in the family since her husband’s death. But unfortunately he also died unexpectedly, leaving this poor family in a very helpless situation. Now there is no one to take care and provide for Rejitha, her children and for the aged parents. Rejitha is seeking well wishers prayers and support to pay for their immediate needs. She’s clueless about how to move forward at this point of her life. Children’s education, and Parent’s medical treatment are also in question. Rejitha trying to find a job that she is able to do while her children are at school but it’s not easy to find in the village that she lives in.
