This project provides financial assistance to set up a small shop (street food shop) for Binoy. He is undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College for kidney failure. His doctors from the Medical College have recommended an immediate kidney transplant. Binoy is 35 years old and was working as a driver. His family consists of his elderly mother, father, wife and two children. They live in an outlying land with Binoy’s small income. They cannot afford the large sum of money required for his surgery.
Now that he is unable to continue his job as a driver due to his condition, Binoy says starting a shop on the roadside would provide him a means of income and help them raise their children without starving them.
