Compassionate Network Hearts was approached by a group of social workers to seek funding to purchase electric sewing machines for a few women from various parts of Idukki, Kerala India. These woman recently completed their tailoring courses offered by a volunteer institution and are ready to take start their owner tailoring shops operating from their houses. A total of twenty five woman have been identified based on their income level and family situation.

CHN team unanimously approved to fund 10 sewing machines to the most deserving women from the list. The project lead is looking for additional sponsors and well wishers to fund rest of the machines. Cost of one machine is approximately hundred US dollars. All or any amount donated to this case will reach the beneficiary and will help the family to become self sufficient.
