We would like to introduce a community service project to support a school for special need children, located in Adoor, Kerala, India. Please take a minute to read the story behind this establishment and consider making a donation.
Out in the darkness, they lighted a lamp. A lamp, which dispersed rays of hope and love to hundreds of minds who were in a similar situation. They, Dr. Susan Mathew and Dr. Mathew C Varghese are the founders of Deepti Special School & Rehab Center in Adoor. In Aug 2009, these loving parents of 13-year-old Jyotish, who has cerebral palsy started Deepti as a therapy center for kids with cerebral palsy.
Today it has grown as the base for hundreds of differently-abled kids, helping them to take a step towards tomorrow and helping them to mark their names in the world. Deepti is paving a way to make their journey towards independence better, giving them the right education, proper therapy, food, and accommodation/transportation. Hundreds of families with special need kids are experiencing the warmth of the love and care, Deepti center has been spreading.
Let us also carry this light in our hearts and be part of this journey, helping Deepti to achieve new heights including getting sponsorships for the kids and taking them one step closer to their long-term goal of finding a permanent facility for the school and the Rehab center.
