My name is Shinu Thomas (40), and I am a photographer based in Gudalur.
Over the past 3½ years, I have undergone 12 major surgeries. Despite all the physical and emotional challenges, I have continued to fight with hope and faith.
Now, I am facing my 13th surgery—an urgent hernia operation that must be performed within the next 25 days at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai. The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹3,00,000.
The repeated medical treatments and surgeries have completely drained my family’s financial resources. I am the father of two young children, aged 3 and 5, and my greatest wish is to recover and return to work so I can provide for them and my family.
