Compassionate Hearts Inc., a Boston-based charity, is reaching out with an urgent appeal to support Mrs. Chitra Boby, a widow from Kerala, India. Chitra lives with her elderly mother-in-law and two teenage daughters in a small, temporary structure made of tin sheets and plastic. During heavy rains and scorching heat, their fragile shelter offers little protection or comfort.
