Alphonsa Roy and her two sisters are seeking help from interested donors so they can continue their schooling. Alphonsa is in 4th grade at an elementary school in Poomankandam, Idukki. Their father Roy is a daily wage worker who is also a social worker, volunteers to help others. Their mother is a stay at home mom. There’s no public transportation or school bus where they live and they rely on auto rickshaw to send these kids to school daily which is expensive. They have a house of their own but this family is struggling to pay of 4 to 5 lacks of debt incurred from the house construction. Roy also has his aged parents to take care at home. Alphonsa is a really good student at school. She is a good singer, good at sports and is well-liked by her teachers.
