The Compassionate Hearts Network Team is looking for your prayers and support to fulfill the critical financial need of a family. Anil, his father Baby and Baby’s wife Kunjamma are all critically ill and they could not find a solution to get out this miserable situation.
Anil is hailing from Central Travancore. He is a driver by profession and was working as a bus driver for a local public school for many years. A few years back he was diagnosed with severe neurological issues related to his vertebrae near his neck and unable to move his neck and went out of work. Since then, he is under treatment in addition to being a severe diabetic. He had been hospitalized twice and is on a continuous treatment since a surgery is not possible due to his poor health conditions. He requires continuous expensive medication to sustain his life at this point. Now unable to work and make some earning to support his family, he is not able to find the money for all medical expenses. They have two young school-aged daughters studying in 12th and 5th grade respectively, their educational expenses are met by some of the well-wishers nearby.
Baby, Anil’s father is 81 years old and is deaf by birth. He worked as rubber tapping employee for many years and is now almost blind (90%) and is struggling with Alzheimer’s disease and need somebody’s help for everything.
2 years ago, Baby’s wife Kunjamma diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to lack of money, the family delayed the surgery for a long time. A surgery was made at Believer’s Hospital Thiruvalla recently and all medical bills are yet to be paid. Apart from carcinoma, she is struggling with severe heart disease and diabetes. Doctors advised to take chemotherapy and other treatment regimens to sustain her life.
The past five years of treatments and hospital costs have drained everything this family had. The hospital bills are too high for them to manage and Anil is in debt of lakhs of rupees at this moment. They have no other source of income or support from extended family. Anil has a brother and sister who are married but are not in a position to give any financial help.
Their home is constructed 40 years ago, part of the house made with asbestos sheets which is leaking everywhere and need a renovation very badly.
