Murukan is a driver by profession who has faced life’s challenges largely on his own. An orphan, he was brought up with the kindness and support of people around Thiruvalla, Kerala.
With the combined efforts and generosity of well-wishers, Murukan has recently been able to acquire 4.5 cents of land in Venpala, Kuttoor Panchayat, Thiruvalla. This is an important step toward building a more secure future.
However, he now faces another urgent need—the need for a safe and permanent home. Despite working as a driver, his income is not enough to build a house on his own.
