Manoj is from a low income family and he lost his father at age 10. This family is known to me for a long time. After basic education, he started working in restaurants in the neighborhood to make a living. At this time he’s married with two children, a 7 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. This young family’s life turned upside down when Manoj had a sudden brain hemorrhage that paralyzed his right side. He was taken to Medical college kottayam first and was recently referred to Indo American Hospital, Vaikom, Kottayam. Although critical care if being provided, further treatment estimate from hospital is over $8000 USD (4 lakh INR).
