This project is to setup a treatment/survival fund for poor boy who’s a brain cancer victim. Benedict Roshan, an eight year old boy from Kasargod, Kerala, India recently underwent brain tumor surgery at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, and Karnataka.
Although the surgery was successful, he is having multiple complications after the surgery. At this time he’s getting prepared for further treatments for his cancer. Roshan’s father had passed away 5 years ago in an accident and his mother is a homemaker. She is struggling to pay the hospital bill as well as to run the household without a job or permanent income.
The hospital bill for the surgery and treatment so far was approximately INR 6 lacks (9000 USD). This was temporary settled through personal loans. In order to pay back the loans and for further treatments like chemotherapy and radiotherapy this family immediately need at least $5000 USD.
